I FEEL JOY
Sometimes people overlook the fine art of used CD digging. Most 90s tracks were ripped in the 90s, which means most MP3s you'll find from the era are crappily-encoded 128-kilobit garbage. That makes used CD shopping the quickest way to high quality copies of 90s pop/dance, R&B, hip-hop, etc. This weekend at Philly's Beautiful World Syndicate, I picked up Real McCoy's "Another Night" CD single because I was curious as to what Armand Van Helden could possibly do with this track. Turns out he flipped it into a soulful, gritty, banging 90s NYC piano house monster. Here it is.
