Stoked about this collabo that dropped last week from the UK’s Star Slinger and French trendsetter Teki Latex. Star Slinger takes a hip-hop approach to dance/bass music – and to me Teki is like an emcee from the future who traveled back in time to show the world that ‘being weird’ is cool. Perfect combination.
BONUS:
every so often i need a new mix in my life so i can set it and forget it. Fake Blood has been an NR favorite for like years now and this mix for diplo and friends on bbc is choice. also peep the ‘fake blood pillows’

I MISS GRIME BEATZ
The 2012-2013 school year is upon us, and that means we’re looking for a new intern. Ideally you go to college in DC or the immediate DC area (which includes UMD, Marymount, etc), enjoy dance music, are relentlessly social and want to help us take it to the next level. Tasks are varied and include:
-flyering + promotional hustle
-assistance in setting up shows
-website
-studio tasks
-random errands / whatever we need done to make this happen
