NEW-VEMBER TUNES BONANZA

William-Adolphe Bouguereau (1825-1905) - Flora And Zephyr (1875)

In honor of this Saturday’s Nouveau Riche, we’re giving away MORE NEW TUNES for you and your cats.  First up, Gavin Holland hits us with “Zephyr,” complete with slicing dubstep bass and a Nintendo-style whistle melody:

Nacey remixes fellow DC’ers Brett (our buds Kevin and Mick from The Dance Party) and the results are silky smooth:

and Steve Starks comes with the heavy trap/trance tune “In My Head” — think Dipset meets “Unsolved Mysteries” meets M.I.A. (or something).

SEE YOU GUYS SATURDAY AT U STREET MUSIC HALL!

Benny Benassi – I Love My Sex (Steve Starks Trip Wire Remix)

A lot of Nouveau tunes coming out lately! For this one, I took an old Benny Benassi acapella and flipped it into some syrupy trap muzik. Strange thing is, I can’t find the version of the original song with these verses on it…. Trippy. Enjoy!

Gotye – Somebody That I Used To Know (Gavin Holland Bootleg)

Icelandic pop radio was banging the hell out of Gotye in December… they were using the tune in their station promo ads, right up against Rihanna and the like.  Think we’re almost there in the U.S.?  Anyway, here’s my take on it.

Dub Phizix & Skeptical feat. Strategy – Marka

Nacey actually put me on to this the other night.  Reminds me of 2006, when dubstep was dark and only enjoyed by dudes in hoodies.  Great video too…
